My Brain Has No Filter

I'm Sydney, 22, Senior in College. I'm currently re-evaluating everything I thought was right and real in the world. Still shaping what the rest of my life is going to be like, and that's really scary for a college senior. Learning it's okay to not have the answer to everything, as long as you are searching. I am still searching for my Raison D'Etre, my reason to be. I think if I have been searching this long and hard, that when I do find it, it will be meaningful.

What even in the world does that have to do with anything? Why is kissing me any different or any more exciting than kissing a white girl? Or ANY girl for that matter? Is it something completely foreign that a white male (or even a black male; I have had that happen to me before too) has to have happen at least once in their life? 

And then what really gets me is guys that say it to me like that is supposed to be some type of compliment. Just No.

People should know that I am NOT an experiment. 

I am a real human being, with real thoughts and real feelings.

Treat me as such, that’s all I ask.
